I am a 67 year old black female retired science teacher with one parent age 87 who developed dementia at about 70 years old and 4 of her 9 siblings have/ had it as well ( along with Diabetes)at some point starting in their 70s. My diet for 4 years has been 90 percent free of added sugar and processed food. Within my acceptable body mass index. Just tweeked my already heart healthy diet this year to the MIND DIET to be proactive about my brain health. I walk/ run for at least 40 to 50 minutes several times a week and do weights as well. It IS a journey. There is no guarantee, but no excuse not to help yourself be healthier before the last minute. Thanks for your information.
Living with Diabetes disease for over 7 years was very difficult for me but all that changed when I came across Dr IGUDIA YouTube channel who cured my type 2 Diabetes with his natural herbs medication.
After 5 years, this video is already outdated. Almonds and brown rice have a lectin called phytate which is antinutrient. It prevents Calcium and other nutrients from being absorbed into your systems. That brown lectin-rich outer layer on almonds can be blanched out, or just buy almonds that are already blanched. Many nuts and grains have that. I would rather eat white rice than anything with wheat gluten. However, I would wash white rice very well to remove much of the arsenic, and just eat rice moderately. Washing very well removes vitamin B1, but I would replace it with Nutritional Yeast. Otherwise you'd be B1 deficient and get beriberi.
I was enjoying listening to this and then she said almost no difference with GMO and organic. Nice you get a paycheck from a university researching them for Big Ag. Total crap. GMO's are saturated with pesticides. Unreal. Sellout.
